  • Acquerello (Italian) - Co-owners Giancarlo Paterlini and Suzette Gresham work together to provide a dining experience virtually unrivalled in this country. Ms. Gresham's talent lies in creatively reinventing traditional dishes from all regions of Italy in a lighter, more contemporary style. Mr. Paterlini, a native of Bologna, is acclaimed and consulted as one of America's leading Italian wine experts. His particular strengths lie in his talent for pairing foods with the ideal wines and in the impeccable European standard he brings to the seamless and elegant dining room service.

  • Alfred's Steak House - Conveniently located in San Francisco's Financial District... up the alley from the Transamerica Pyramid. Since 1928, Alfred's has served the finest, mouthwatering, aged mesquite broiled steaks from the very best corn-fed cattle. Such specialties as the kingly porterhouse, the magnificent chateaubriand, the flavorful Chicago rib steak, as well as fresh salmon fillets, and the broiled rack of lamb offer our guests a true culinary treat.

  • Cliff House Restaurant (American-Continental) - Housed in the new Sutro Wing this addition to the Cliff House features a two story dining room, a Bar called Sutro's Bar and a Balcony on the street level. Since the removal of the old building that housed the Pronto Pup, the views have now opened up to see the Marin Coast line, the Sutro Bath ruins and the entry to the Golden Gate.

Gorgeous appetizers set the tone for meat-centric, down-home, but nuanced entrees. Try the Empanada Don Walter made with tender chunks of beef, eggs and raisins in a blistery-crunchy crust with whole perfectly-steamed shrimp in a romesco sauce. The Lomo Saltado has lean slices of beef, onions and tomatoes, expertly seasoned and served aside a mound of fluffy rice to soak up the savory juices.
